Steve Hedges - Art Escape Photography

Steve has been a professional photographer for over twenty-five years. Early on in his career he concentrated on portrait and wedding photography.  His business has diversified since then to include commercial and public relations commissions.

Photography has always been more of a passion than a job for Steve. When photographing a personal project, the subjects he likes to concentrate on most are landscape and nature. Offering fine art prints for sale has been a fairly new venture for him. He is finding that it’s a great way of combining business and his love of the natural world.
Last but not least

For the last few years Steve has been running photography courses for photographers of any level from beginner to the more advanced.  Whether it’s a classroom photography course or a location workshop, he really enjoys helping people to take their hobby further.

Tim Burton

Tim Burton Photography

Tim Burton has been photographing the splendour of the polar regions for more than a decade, getting to places that few get to visit and often in conditions few would want to experience. Long, dark winters in the Antarctic, cold spring expeditions to the Arctic - most people shiver at the thought.

Tim's interest in photography began at an early age and was keen to learn from his father who was a keen amateur.

His first experience of cold places was on an expedition to Arctic Norway at the age of 18.Since then he has been on expeditions to Svalbard, Iceland and Greenland, including a 600Km unsupported icecap crossing in 2000, and leading to Greenland on two expeditions for the charity BSES Expeditions taking groups of 17-19 year olds for a once in a lifetime experience.

After working as a Geography teacher Tim went on to spend four winters ski guiding in France and Italy, supply teaching, mountaineering and expeditioning in between. He was appionted as a Field Assistant (Mountaineer) for the British Antarctic Survey and proceeded to spend 3 years working on the white continent alongside world class scientists until the winter of 2006 when he was Winter Base Commander of Rothera Research Station, the largest of the British Antarctic Survey's Bases.
